elena7seas Posted July 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2006 There appears to have been an awful accident on the Crown Princess a short time ago. The ship appears to be listing badly and cruisers are reporting that many people have been injured. My prayers go out for the safety of all the passengers and crew. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=381758

RodPat Posted July 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2006 I was outside talking to my neighbor when her girlfriend called from the Crown Princess. She said everything fell everywhere. The shops are a mess. Tv's fell in the cabins. It seemed the shipped tipped over quite far. The water came out of the pools and went down all the staircases. There are many injured. She wanted her friend to know she and her husband were alright but very frightened. They were told it was a steering problem. They will soon be back in Cape Canivaral. Very scary situation.
