Pistachio42 Posted July 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Does anyone know of any crazy place in Charlotte Amalie even remotely comparing to Cozumel's Carlos & Charlie's? Or is there a Jolly Roger excursion with Royal Caribbean? Please help .. lol. Tom :D
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2004 :) In Charlotte Amalie, itself, there is the Hard Rock Cafe. There is the Kon Tiki - a party boat - Your cruise through Charlotte Amalie sipping free rum punches (you pour the amount of rum you want into your drink) and you can dance to Calypso music. The lower deck is covered if you can't take a lot of sun. The upper deck is where most people go. The boat also passes over a coral reef where she loweres her 6 large glass bottom viewers. A stop is also made at a small beach where you can swim and sunbath. Some people have been known to drink too much of the rum drinks. :)
Pistachio42 Posted July 4, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Great! And I see they have a website for possibly booking a spot independent of Royal Caribbean. I'll have to email em and ask. Thanks again. Tom

Krazy Kruizers Posted July 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2004 :) Have fun everyone on the Kon Tiki. Just don't drink too much - don't want anyone to have an accident like a woman a couple of years ago on RCI. She was so drunk that she fell over her balcony and landed on the one below. Sorry to say that she didn't live to tell about it. :)
