Anyone have any port suggestions? Prefer not to do ship tours. Sailing 8/27 - 9/12.

Most look like they are close to city centers.

Dover, England;

Falmouth, United Kingdom

Dublin, Ireland

Greenock, Scotland

Belfast, Ireland; Reykjavik, Iceland

Qaqortoq, Greenland

St. John's, Newfoundland

Dover Castle, if you haven't been there before. There is quite a lot of discussion about it on the Britain forum - and search now works beautifully.

We are also intrested in any suggestions for Reykavik - we do not want to take a ship tour but dont want to miss highlights.

Dublin you can really do on your own with no problem.Take a cab from the dock to the city center..Grafton Street,and from there you can walk to many of the sights and/or do the Hop/on Hop/off bus.It is really an easy city to get get around in by foot and lots to see and do.Please have a Guinness for me!!!!!
