If you could add anything on any RCI Ship what would it be?

Recommended Posts

I think RCI has done a great job adding things that passengers find enjoyable. So I will leave that to them. But their are a few things I don't want to see.

1) No MUTS. I don't want to hear a stupid movie while I am walking around the ship at night. There are so many better things to do on a ship than to just sit and stare at a screen showing a movie that I can see at home whenever I want.

2) No bowling alley. It takes up way to much space for an activity that only a few people can take advantage of at a time.

I think thats it.

1. i agree with the muts

2. i disagree with the bowling alley. with the size of ships now a days, i dont think finding room for 4-8 bowling lanes wont be an issue. just my thoughts....

O.k. what is a MUTS? I would love them to have a better movie theater. I enjoy going to the movies, especially on vacation.

Disney had the laundry room with ironing boards and it was great. I know this was designed for families that spent every dime they had to afford a disney cruise and couldn't afford to send out their clothes :)

You're 100% right!

My family and I are booked for an April cruise at the moment, but we are aiming to change the booking to June when it opens up. Sorry for any confusion!

agh....ty for clearing that up. im trying to get on a freedom class ship soon. i was on mariner for my 2nd cruise ever, and cant wait to get on the freedom class..and even better...the genesis class when they come out.

the ships are getting so big that my brother said "soon you can get on a ship in miami, and walk to nassau on the ship" LOL...thought that was a funny yet exaggerrated comment.

MUTS=Movies Under The Stars. it is a huge screen on the pool deck were they show movies or other things at variuos times. the ship that comes to mind that features this is the Carnival Liberty

and a side note.....disney has no casino, so i will NEVER sail them, and i work part-time for them...:D

Oh no. With bigger ships come more people. We don't need that much space (and it is a lot of space) being taken up by something that can only serve 45 people at a given time. Plus I wouldn't my cabin near the thing. Would you?

Actually, as much as I love the movies, I wouldn't want to watch them outdoors either it would interfere with just walking on deck and enjoying listening to the ocean. I like the dark room, with comfy chairs, a good sound system, and snacks.

I second (or third) the Dunkin' Donuts!

Also, could care less about a casino, but don't take away BINGO!

if they did it right....it would be fine...put it on the promenade....and face it parallel to the walk way...that way it is behind the stores/facilities on the promenade...and close it at 11 or 12 to reduce the noise...no biggie....

of course i could really want it because i bowl in leagues and tournaments....=)

I already suggested this to the cruise director...... Men have Belly flop contests.....sexy leg contests............. but no womens events. Maybe we need a Ladies Cannonball contest? LOL.
