DesertDogs Posted July 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2006 OK - So I see that Jeans are now allowed in the dining room on Casual nights. How about nice Capris? They are much more comfortable and easier to pack. Also, how many formal and informal nights on a 10 day cruise? We are sailing on the Zaandam in October. RuthC Posted July 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2006 A 10-day cruise will typically have 3 formal and 1-2 informal nights. The projected number of each type of night will be in your documents, but is still subject to change on board.
Orlandocruiser Posted July 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I always wear capris on casual nite. I tend to "dress up" more for casual nite - I never wear polos for example and sometimes I wear a cute sundress. I have a pair of black "dressy" capris that I wear with a black sweater or semi fancy top. I also bring 2 pairs of linen capris (one white one tan) to wear with nice tops. I would never occur to me that capris wouldn't be suitable for casual nite. BTW we have sailed on HAL 5 times and the 6th is booked for November.
