Booked on this cruise 2 adults and 2 boys 6 & 7, always cruise over Christmas from Florida but decided to try NY NY as close to home. Was just wondering whether anyone could tell us when we hit the good weather after leaving from New York.

I suspect that it would be the afternoon of day two. Variables involved: Ship's speed and Weather conditions.

First, I'm envious. I am still trying to talk my wife into this cruise. Wish me luck.

Second, We cruised out of NYC the past two September and had excellent weather (warm) the next morning. In 2oo4 I put on sweats at 7:00 A.M. thinking it would be cool. As soon as I walked out on the balcony I went back in and put on shorts.

Granted December is later but you will be off the coast of North Carolina by then and Cold it shouldn't be.

You're sailing on a Saturday. Based on my experience last March I would say expect it to be cold/cool on Sunday and warm/hot on Monday.
