bar or refrigerator

we have a suite on the noordam in march 2007. it is in the sy category. does anyone know if there is a self serve bar in your room or a refrigerator. i can't find the info (or i am having literacy issues again):D all input is appreciated.

You will have a typical hotel style mini-bar in your cabin. If you wish to remove the pre-stocked items, have your steward take them all away to be sure you are not charged for them.

 

Anything you use from the bar is automatically billed to your shipboard account.

On the Zuiderdam, we were in cabin 1020 which is on deck 1 (bottom). We had a mini bar in our suite. As we were not going to use it, I had asked the cabin steward to lock it up. He didn't. We were not charged for it, but on the last day when everyone needs to settle their account, there were quite a lot of passengers complaining that they were charged for it, but never used it.
