cashrink Posted July 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2004 We are cruising Princess and have no idea what these different categories mean. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks! Monica
BaumD Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 You need to look at a Princess brochure. The letters denote different size, style and location. Size is the square footage, it canvary from about 150 sf to 300-400. Style can be an inside cabin (no window), Outside (w/ window), Balcony cabin, or suite. Location- the higher you go on the ship and closer to the middle tend to be more money. They price cabins based upon these characteristics and set up different categories. seacrystal Posted July 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2004  I actually have been wondering the same thing. I wish Princess would define BA, BB, BC, BD, BE, BF, BG & BH in detail. Although these boards really help, I find myself pretty confused by all the terms. I feel like I am learning a new language and I am anxious to become "cruiselingual."

serene56 Posted July 7, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2004 that is not true: Looking at the deck plans for Sapphire Princess at the PH suites (which are the second to the biggest suites) these cabins are located on the Emerald, Dolphin, Caribe, Baja and Aloha deck. So it cant be the higher you go the bigger the cabin.
