Massdam, Laundry Facilities

Does anyone know if the Massdam had laundry facilites that can be used by the passengers. Just wondering. Thanks.

Yes, I think all the HAL ships have pax laundry facilities except the larger Vista class ships.

Sure do; there are a few on different decks. Wash is $2.00; $1.00 to dry (or reverse; I can never remember). The ship provides detergent, and you bring whatever dryer sheets you wish to use.

You can get quarters at the Front Desk.

There is also an ironing board (or two) with an iron.

According to the HAL website deck plans for the Maasdam, there are self-service laundry facilities on the following decks:

Veranda

Lower Promenade

Main

A Deck

 

The machines take quarters (change is available at the Purser's desk if needed), and soap is included. If you use dryer sheets, bring those with you as they are not available on-board.

Do they have irons and boards in the laundry room? I assume they do.

Yes they do. It's a nice facility, small but functional.
