San Francisco Hotels

Here's the web site I use for booking hotels in San Francisco. Not as low as priceline, maybe, but great rates and good customer service. You can select by area the hotels you'd like to see, and they include a "Fisherman's Wharf" option. You might also want to check "Financial District," as that's very close by. In Fisherman's Wharf area, they just opened a new boutique hotel called the Argonaut, which looks very nice. Under "Financial District," check out any deals on the Hyatt Embarcadero (careful, there are four Hyatts in San Francisco)- great views from the upper floors of the waterfront and the Bay Bridge, and the site where they filmed "High Anxiety," the Mel Brooks film. Nearby is the Hotel Griffon, a VERY charming boutique hotel, and last week for some co-workers, they had great rates. Both Hyatt and Hotel Griffon are a short and inexpensive cab ride from the pier.
