Hi,

We will be on the Mille on October 17th and it is a venice to barcelona 12 night Med. trip. Which nights are actually the formal nights? If you say the 2nd night does that mean the day after we get on the ship... or two days after we get on the ship? Just curious.....

The second night out. If you leave at 5:00 p.m., that is the first night out. I am not sure of the 2 others, but there are threads, recently, that will answer the question for you.:)

Formal Nights:

Day 1 departure

Day 2 formal, welcome on board,

sometimes the 5th night and the

2nd last night is lobster and baked alaska parade.

The last night is for packing. The "5th night" is flexible but look for a sea day or an early departure port.

Hi - we did this cruise in May this year and absolutely loved it, my review is at the following link:-

As you do not depart until the second evening, the formal nights are not as straight forward as on a 'normal' cruise. In summary the nights were as follows:

Night 1 - Casual - Venice

Night 2 - Informal - Venice - departs

Night 3 - Formal - Dubrovnik

Night 4 - Casual - At Sea

Night 5 - Casual - Santorini

Night 6 - Informal - Athens

Night 7 - Formal - At Sea

Night 8 - Casual - Naples

Night 9 - Casual - Citiavecchia

Night 10- Informal/Formal - Livorno (the first time I have seen the dress code actually printed as that)

Night 11- Casual - Villefranche

Night 12 - Casual - Barcelona
