Star E201-208

Star, Grand, or Golden E201-208. Has anyone been in one of these cabins? These are regular balcony cabins at the front of the Emerald Deck. They are very unusual in that they seem to stick out of the ship all on their own. I searched the internet for pictures, and it looks like they have a public walkway on the outside of the balconies!

I am suspicious of them because on the heavily booked cruise I was looking at all eight of these cabins were still available - not a good sign.

What I want to know: Do these balconies actually overlook a public walkway? Can people walking around the ship look into these balconies? And can you see the sea by looking straight down from your balcony, or do you only see that walkway?

I think I will pass on these rooms. I really don't like the idea of a passageway outside my balcony, even if the balcony is huge.

We walked past them on our daily walk around deck,the promenade deck stops you walk up stairs and past these cabins.

I would not choose one unless it was very cheap or all that was left.
