ruderhaus Posted July 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2004 Hello everybody, I have published a new exclusive "Guest Feature" by renowned cruise travel writer Timo Kauppinen. In his illustrated article, Timo takes a look at "The brightest Star in Holland America's Fleet", the new M/S "Westerdam". Christened in April with the author invited to join the festivities, "Westerdam" is HAL's third "Vista"-class ship. The new "Guest Feature" is available here: http://www.ruderhaus.de/hal-west-kaupp/index_e.htm The article comes with 34 pictures, kindly provided by Holland America Line and the author. As always, English picture descriptions appear by pointing the mouse cursor at the full-sized pictures. Enjoy!
Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted July 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2004 I enjoyed seeing the pictures, I even knew what everything was with out English;) I can see there are even more different color schemes on the Westerdam as opposed to the other 2 sister ships. Thanks,
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2004 :) Thanks for posting the pictures. We will be pn her in a few months. The color scheme in some areas seem to be bold. :)
Esme Posted July 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2004 Thank you. Now we know what our SS Suite will look like - better to see it in a large picture than the small ones in the brochure and on HAL's web site.
digby Posted July 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2004 We were on its second cruise from Venice in an "S" class cabin. We really enjoyed ourselves. The colors seemed far less intense in person than in the photos especially after dark.
