Need advice on how to give away free cruises

Recommended Posts

I am a real estate agent who wants to offer a free cruise to any agent who sells one of my listings. I filled out a corporate incentive form online on the RCCL website and got no response. I called the corporate incentives department (actually I was routed there after talking to several other people.) They assured me someone would call me right back. Its been three days now and no phone call. Gosh, you would think that they don't need my business. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? Is this typical of RCI?

I can't help you with contacting RCI, but I would LOVE to be an agent and sell your listings!! LOL

I have no experience with the corporate incentives program. But, RCCL just came out with a great new gift certificate program. If your looking for the all packaged up and ready to go cruise I guess you'll need RCCL to give you a call back.

btw- that's a great incentive!

Yes, I was thinking that that would be a great reward! The only problem now is to set it up with RCI. Is this nonresponse typical of their customer service? Should I go through a travel agent? I think it is a great idea, but I need some help with the logistics.

I would definitely consider visiting the best TA in your town, because your agents are probably not veteran cruisers and a local TA can help you on an ongoing basis. We have done as a reward for our employees and customers cruises and land vacations. This year we took about 500 people on a cruise on RCI. While I could handle this myself, I prefer to let the TA do their job and handle the numerous questions and logistical nightmares. Of course, if you have loads of free time and love to help your agents plan vacations then, of course, you should do this yourself!;) :D
