POH: Grand Pacific Vs. Alizar Main Restaurant

I see the Grand Pacific Main Restaurant mentioned in many reviews but hardly ever see Alizar Main Restaurant mentioned. Anyone been there? How does it comapre to Grand Pacific? Same menu or different from Grand Pacific? Also, I saw a few posts about 1/2 price nights at the fee restaurants-has anyone ever encountered these on POH?

When I was on the POH July 31 I didn't encounter any 1/2 price nights. Sorry I cannot comment on Alizar as the food and Service were so exceptional in Grand Pacific we cancelled all other reservations and ate in Grand Pacific every night. When will you be cruising? For amazing service you MUST request Lauran Walker to be your server. She was exceptional.

I didn't try Alizar, but I know it has the same menu.

I didn't see any half off offers for specialty restaurants.

What is the point of having two restaurants with the same menu?:confused:

teh restaurants get full early dinners. If you go for late dinners, not a problem. Alizar is also closed most of the day and only open for dinner.
