Crooner's on the Sapphire Princess where it is shaken ... not stirred... at the table by energetic your waitstaff. It became our home away from home at 6PM !!!

Don't want to rock the boat (so to speak) but martini's should be stirred. Shaking them dliutes the gin/vodka!

Very true!! As Auntie Mame (Dennis) said "Always stir, never shake, it bruises the gin."

Thanks for the info,

Dave

I almost had a heart attact a few years ago when aboard the Navigator.

My DH and I always went to the martini bar for a pre-dinner cocktail, and the waiter decided to put on a bit of a show with the bottle of Grey Goose, and guess what? Yup, down it crashed! He just smiled and carried on.....:)

Star Bar on NCL's Dawn with bartender Gedde. It was a martini clinic: 5 martinis for $10. He gave the history of the martini and showed us how to make 5 different kinds. That's when I fell in love with the appletini and the cosmo. And, what a show it was!!!! :D
