dakrewser Posted August 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I've never seen the casino take anything except US currency.
sail7seas Posted August 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I don't think that coins are usually exchangeable most places. I would be very surprised if they were willing to exchange your money. Can't you go to a local bank? The exchange rate will be awful but at least you could get something back. I have never seen anything but U.S. dollars used in the casino......that and HAL tokens for the slot machines.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2006 As others have said - only US money in the casino. Most banks won't take foreign coins in exchange for US money.
croman02 Posted August 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2006 Back from the Baltic in July. There was an exchange office next to the information desk in the lobby where you could exhange currencies. I'm sure it was just for those ports on the cruise but you might find something similar to help you with some of your money.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 28, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2006 rxralph If your next cruise is in the Caribbean there won't be any kind of an exhange table or anything at the front desk.
