critterchick Posted September 4, 2006 #126 Share Posted September 4, 2006 Lorna, I am crazy, but that's just part of my unique charm - just ask Rick! No, I didn't ask why it had been announced earlier. Danney talked about some of the itineraries coming up, all available for booking, and then talked about Liberty and Genesis. People were shaking their heads - you could tell that this was a "smaller is better" crowd! Happy, we didn't feel anything from the hurricane. Ensenada was in the low 80s but not too humid, and our sea day was spent off the coast of San Diego, also warm and windy. I'm posting another of my long-winded rambling reviews shortly. cruise wizard Posted September 4, 2006 #127 Share Posted September 4, 2006 OK - what is the inside scoop on the 2008 new Pacific itineraries?? I thought that i had to book on Princess but would prefer RCCL for sure. Thanks
critterchick Posted September 4, 2006 #128 Share Posted September 4, 2006 Danney talked about the Celebrity Mercury's transpacific trip Down Under and then her 12 (or was it 14?) night itineraries, but nothing for RCI that I heard. Splendour will be doing South America. Both ships' itineraries are available for booking in early 2008 - he was encouraging us to visit him to do so, of course! wrp96 Posted September 5, 2006 #129 Share Posted September 5, 2006 I've seen rumors of RCCL going back to Austrailia/New Zealand in the 2008-2009 season.
Michelle! Posted September 5, 2006 #130 Share Posted September 5, 2006 Personally I missed out on the whole work/live in Australia experience in my 20's, so a cruise would be a great way to explore! Something to look forward too!
