Best salmon bake?

We are heading to the following ports on our land tour portion of our cruise: Fairbanks, Denali, Talkeetna, Anchorage. Would like to have suggestions for a salmon bake. Also, in Ketchikan, would you recommend Totem Bight or Saxman Village, and would you book through the cruise or independently? Do the independents also offer the carving shed and dancers ?

In Fairbanks: For better food I would go to the Alaska Salmon Bake at Pioneer Park for the best entertainment I would go to the all you can eat buffet at the Ester Gold Mine and then catch the Malemute Saloon Show.

Definately Pioneer Park, but I also greatly enjoy the show at the Palace Theater. You can take a combo tour to both Saxman Village and Totem Bight with Sourdough tours. The independent tours are about 1/2 the price of ship tours.
