deccoboy Posted September 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2006 I was just wondering if anyone was "invited" to join the RCI Casino players club? I will be on the Mariner September 10th and I heard that it is not like Vegas where you can just sign up. Instead you have to be invited to join. Has anyone done this and what are the benefits? Thanks!!!

goldmom Posted September 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2006 I wrote to RCCL and inquired about the casino club. This was basically their reply of what you'd need to play in order to be invited to join. Apparently as a "member" they offer you free drinks but no other comps or casino rate cabins, at least "not at this time." Hope this answers some of your questions, I'm not a "member" so can't give you a definitive answer. Thank you for inquiring about our player program. Players are invited to join the program by the Casino Managers onboard based on the amount of time played and average bet. To qualify a player must play at least two hours per day during their cruise, placing the following minimum bets: Blackjack/Dice at $50.00 per hand/roll; Caribbean Stud/Let It Ride/Three Card Poker /Roulette at $25.00 per hand/spin; Slots at $5.00 per spin. cb at sea Posted September 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2006 It hardly seems worth worrying about---with those high minimums! It's much cheaper to buy your own drink, than trying to bet enought to get one "free"! And really, why should they offer you anything--you're a captive gambler--it's not like you have a choice of gambling venue!
