SnorkelBear Posted September 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Can anyone tell me the color of the carpeting in main dining room? I am in the process of picking out a vest for my Tux and I don't want it to match the carpet. Thanks in advance for all your help.:p
gizmo Posted September 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2006 LOL. :D We actually had a thread on this about 4 years ago, but it was not a vest, it was the color of lady's dresses.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2006 I am impressed that you are worried anout taking the wrong color of tuxedo vest so that it won't clash with the carpeting!!

bepsf Posted September 6, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2006 SB-- LOL - too funny... Reminds me of my recent cruise on Mercury - coming down the staircase into the Dining Room (no, I was not waving at my fans...), I noticed that the carpet was blue w/ big white birds that looked exactly like the old Royal Viking Line logo! I guess X got a really good deal on that carpet...
hammybee Posted September 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 6, 2006 It will probably clash with your denim Tux.

SnorkelBear Posted September 6, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Brian, I'm soooooo glad my bright blue with white birds vest finally wore out. Hammy, you're so wrong. I am going with the corduroy tux. Copper, nice little piece of detective work. Must have been the way I was walking. I still don't know what color the carprt is. Argh!! bepsf Posted September 6, 2006 #12 Share Posted September 6, 2006 SB-- As you can see, the main floor of the Vista Dining Room is that compelling sort of Teal/Mauve/Purple/Yellow swirl that we were so fond of on our velour sectional sofas back in the late 80's: ...whereas the staircases and raised central area is a much more restrained Burgundy/Orange - quite reminiscent of spilled Sangria... But why would you wear a vest anyway? Wouldn't that detract from your powder blue ruffled shirt???
SnorkelBear Posted September 6, 2006 Author #13 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Darn! I was leaning towards the Teal/Mauve/Purple/Yellow swirl vest. I just might have to revisit the ruffled dickey. Sorry, there's just no way to say that without a little cumberbun busting chuckle. Live long and laugh my friend!
