I am sailing on the 9 day Explorer on Sept 22 and was wondering which island is best for buying colognes/perfumes? Are there any good deals on the ships?

We will also be on that sailing....:) Anyways, I would say St.Thomas might be your best bet. And yes you can find some good deals on the ship as well. Just shop around...

Have you visited are roll call forum?? There are a lot of great people on there and we are planning our own get-togethers on the ship aside from the meet and mingle.

You can get some good buys on the ship & now they are matching prices on the islands-we just got off the Explorer on Sunday. I usually like to shop in St. Thomas but unfortunately was unable to do so this trip because of the time in port-1:00pm to 11:00pm. We wanted to do some beach & tour things & by the time we got back to the ship it was 5:00pm & all the stores downtown were closed. Havensight was open a little later but we had early seating so didn't even have the chance to do any shopping there.

Just like with other items, check the prices here in the states, so you know if it's a good deal or not!
