We Got Our Passports

Just wanted to let everyone know, that we got our passports in record time (I think)...Only 28 days....For anyone needing to get passports, please give it at least 6 weeks....Now we are ready for that Alaskian cruise, June '07...Take care, Susan

I renewed my passport in late July and it took about 4 weeks for a renewal.

 

The closer to the end of the year that people apply for passports, my guess is the longer it will take. That is because there will be a larger backlog of people applying for passports before the new rules go into effect in early January. Don't wait until the last minute.

My son applied August 10 and still hasn't gotten his. They do have it in process and estimate him having it 9-26. Cutting it close for a 10-2 Ireland trip!!!! YIKES. :)

 

When he applied, they did say he would get it in time without the expedited service- I hope so.

I'm also going. :) Going into Dublin, south, ROK, Dingle, Cork Cty. etc. out of Shannon. Leave a week from today, for 2 weeks.

 

Thank goodness, the passport DID arrive. :)
