Just back from Mercury--huge disappointment...

No surprise the OP felt let down. Just finished our 10th Celebrity cruise and and things have certainly went downhill since our first Celebrity experience. I don't think the problem is isolated to Mercury but systemic throughout Celebrity.

 

Recent Constellation was dreadful as far as food. It had slipped since our previous Connie around the Baltic. The best food I have had on Celebrity was on the Horizon and on Infinity during the South America cruise.

 

Celebrity sets a high expectation with their advertising and based on past experience; however it just is not there any more. We are moving on to try other lines.
