Marseille to Cassis by Train???

Does anyone know if it is easy to get from Marseille to Cassis by train? Is it very complicated and if not could you give easy directions please!

The good news is that its only about a 20 min train ride. The bad news is that there are not a lot of trains and depending on the particular train it could leave from anyone of two different stations in Marseille. The Marseille St Charles station is the main station that is pretty convenient to the downtown old port area. The Marseille Blancarde is a bit further out of town (I think its a good mile) and you would need a taxi. You can access the schedules at http://www.sncf.com/indexe.htm

The station at Cassis is situated well out of the town - you would need a taxi to take you into Cassis and they can be few and far between......

Cassis station is around 3Km out of town and the town of Cassis and as well as the taxi I believe there was also a bus service
