calling card question...

I have verizon wireless and I am pretty sure my cell phone won't work at sea or in the ports so I want to get a calling card. Can I use the calling card from the ship? What about from the ports? I have never bought a international calling card - how do they work? Has anyone bought one of these calling cards at a local store like Target or Walmart? Are some calling cards better that others? Thanks a lot for any and all advice on this one!

calling any where from your cabin is gonna cost you money and dont take a calling card-- even if using a calling card-- you would probably be charged both ways.

for now the Triumph is the only ship that has the capacity to use cells for sea day-- other ships you will have to wait til you are in port.

Ask your crew where is the best place to buy a phone card in the ports.
