I will be in cat 8c on carnival pride on the upper deck. Do you have any info on the view, noise level etc. it is midship?:o

Its pretty much what I wrote above. With the balcony door closed you wont hear a thing, once you open it you could hear the water below Swwwwsssh... pretty cool soothing sound.

My question was about room 7152' date=' not the aft rooms. Will there be alot of wind on the balcony of stateroom 7152?[/quote']

I was in stateroom 7160 last month and it wasn't at all windy. I thought the extended balcony would be a little bigger, but ours had 2 chairs that semi- reclined, a straight chair and a table and the 3 of us never felt crowded so I guess it was bigger then I thought. I kept looking at the aft balconies when we were in port and they looked like fun, but a little too much sun for me. Have a great vacation.

Thanks Fred! This thread has been so helpful even 3 1/2 years later!

We just booked cabin 4241 but I'm a little worried about what was said about the temperature of the room running 76-78 degrees. I like it COLD at night, but I can make do with cool. Will the A/C not bring the temp down any lower than 76?

Thanks again for all the great info and pics!
