I just got off the Explorer to Bermuda last friday and it was wonderful! We were on the 8th floor though not far from where your cabin is and it was a great location very convienent to everything. You will have a great time, make sure you go to the Schooner bar (piano bar) and make sure you go to Quest.

Hi,

Well, not exactly that cabin but we sailed on Explorer in April and had 7588. It was perfect, couldn't have asked for better. It was quiet and far enough away from the things that tend to bother some people - the casino, the lounges, the disco, the traffic through the Guest Relations area... it was awesome. Perfect side of the ship too; we sailed into every port (Eastern Caribbean) on the side we had booked.

Deck 7 suited us fine - it's sort of in the middle of things; two decks away from the Royal Promenade, and only a few away from the Windjammer. It was great.

Explorer is magnificent! All you have read and the pictures you've seen do not do her justice. You'll have a fabulous time! I'm so excited for you!

I recently booked this cabin on the Explorer. It will be my first time on Royal Caribbean and first time in Bermuda - VERY EXCITED!! Just wondering if anyone had any input on this cabin while there's time to make some changes if needed.

Thanks!!

We sailed on the Explorer on July 23rd and were in Cabin 7644, right next door to your's. The cabin was just fine. We prefer cabins on floors that aren't above or below anything other than cabins, so this one was perfect being two floors above the Promenade and 4 floors below the pools, buffet, etc. It's on the port side of the ship, slightly aft of the "hump". We felt very little ship movement and didn't hear any noise. The only common area even remotely nearby is the Library, (and we know what a raucus crowd tends to gather there icon10.gif).

Thank you everyone for your replies. It sounds like it's going to be a good fit after all. I'm really excited to finally try this line and this ship. Thank you for the suggestions - I'm starting to compile the "must do's" already.

Can't wait! :)
