can someone please tell me why carnival drops the price in April . The 1st part of April is more expensive than the latter. Is spring break a factor? im on the 4-21 cruise, will I tend to see more younger college age kids or a mix. I also got the I/C in DT Miami, precruise, but no bargain as some folks have received from other posts I have read.

Most, if not all, cruise lines drop prices after Easter bacause of the lower demand. Spring breaks/vacations are over and most the kids of all ages (and their teachers) are back in school.

You will still see some kids - preschoolers, children being home schooled (or pulled out of school for the week) and perhap ones from other countries.

We are in New England (Western mass) and our spring break starts 4/14. I'm hopeing your all correct that prices go down cuz that will mean we will get a good deal:D Now if I could just convince others to come with us!

My PVP called about a week ago and dropped the price of our cruise $300 and upgraded us from an 8A balcony to an 8E balcony on the Panorama deck. I didn't even know about the past guest perk. Now I can only hope for a suite!:D I am really lucky because our spring break is 4/20 -4/29 and our superintendent picked that week because it was after school board budget elections. I love this week because it is removed from all other spring breaks. Also staying at the IC precruise 4/21.
