Sovereign vs Monarch

Recommended Posts

Anyone been on both?? We've just booked Sovereign for Oct 27...have been on Monarch several times, just moved to the east coast.

Especially Rubrrick and Critterchick - if you've been on both please let me know.

I know it's an older ship, but we've always liked the charm of Monarch and especially its crew.

Would appreciated feedback.

Very similar experience, better ports on the Sovereign IMO. We really enjoyed our cruise on the Sovereign, great crew. The cabins are small on both ships although the Sovereign has been having problems with their cabin TV's, don't know if they have worked out that yet.

Been on both, loved them both. Sovereign was my first cruise so got me hooked. Monarch just happens to have been the last ship I was on but I really want to go back on her. I do like the fact that Sovereign gets to visit CocoCay. Nassau is a stay on the ship port for me now - but a lot of people love it.
