Earliest Return Flight in Houston After Debarkation in Galveston

Thinking about a cruise (RCL) out of Galveston this coming Spring. Will be flying in and out of Houston. Will fly in the day before cruise, so flight time is not that important. Ship arrives back in port at 7 am on Sunday. What is the earliest I should schedule my return flight?

Depends on which airport you are flying out of. Hobby (HOU) is about 45 minutes to an hour away from port. I would recommend flights after noon or later from Hobby. IAH is about 1.5 to 2 hours away from port and I wouldn't recommend any flights earlier than 1pm.
