BB5953 Posted July 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2004 I am assuming that when you dine at the Normandy you have soup, salad, appetizer and entree. Is that correct?
Senga Posted July 15, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2004 The suggestion is soup OR salad OR appetizer, main entree, dessert.

Ma Bell Posted July 15, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2004 They usually give you a little taste of something from the chef to begin. Then appetizer, soup or salad. The appetizers are large as are the soup and salad. The entrees are really filling. Then there is a cheese course and dessert. At the end of the meal they bring coffee and more little sweets. It is really a lot of food, served beautifully and I can't imagine anyone eating all of it much less wanting more.
wv4891 Posted July 15, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2004 Hi Joan, Well you never have seen me eat. The plates are clean when I am finished, including all the cheese!!!! That's what those great gyms are for on the "M" class ships, for people who eat like I do. :) Bill
I can't imagine anyone eating all of it much less wanting more.

Lsimon Posted July 16, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2004 We had appetizer and salad. Didn't get a suggestion nor any indication that we sould have less or more. Nothing but the nice, somewhat formal, service.

wv4891 Posted July 16, 2004 #9 Share Posted July 16, 2004 Joan, that is because I spend a couple of hours each day working out to make up for my really bad eating habits. If I didn't I would be 240 in no time (been there). Bill
