Tipping on traditional dining seating on Crown

We are having the reserved early seating (tradiitonal) on our Crown voyage in 07, and I know that the ship has the automatic $10/day tip added to bill. This covers all staff, and all servers in all the restaurants (traditional or anytime). However, given that we will be seeing the same staff each day for all meals, will they expect extra tip? Or will they be satisfied with the auto tip that they get from the specified amount? I am trying to budget our trip, but do not want to offend anyone.

They will not be offended if you do not tip beyond the guidelines. If they are outstanding, the best thing you can do is to write a comment card detailing their service.

BTW try the discover diving....

We often tip extra IF the service is exceptional. If it is just normal service and nothing special, then we let the auto tip come into play and that is all.

They don't expect it. If you feel they've done an excellent job, beyond what you expected, feel free to tip extra. The extra tip is optional.
