Upset Stomach-Recommended Medication

What are the suggested medications to bring with you on a cruise just in case of getting an upset stomach from either the ship's food (i.e. trying something new) or food on the islands?

Try Maalox chewable tablets. I also like pepacid but you need to take this before you eat unless you get the pepacid complete,

I always have had issues with my stomach, and was a big maalox liquid fan for years..Tums or maalox tabs never worked for me. However, the Pepcid Complete chewables are now my new favorite. They work instantly and are wonderful! Also, pepto tabs are very good.

In addition, make sure you also have some bonine with you for motion and some beano or gasx, as these often come in handy ;)

For diarrhea you may want to consider Imodium AD.

It depends on what type of upset stomach you are talking about. For diarrhea, you need something like Imodium AD, as Maalox, Tums, and Rolaids will not work for diarrhea, they are only for heartburn.

Pepto Bismal will cover it all..liquid works better and comes in plastic bottle,but tablets will be ok.
