Tyrkitty Posted November 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2006 I have searched and find no info on the OceanView cabins forward on the Emerald Deck. Curious if anyone has had one of these. I imagine you would have people walking outside of your room as the forward upper Promenade Deck is outside of the window. Actually I'm more interested in what you are able to see out of these window cabins. It is hard to see the windows from pictures of the ship, so I wonder if the view is partially ubstructed. Anyone stayed in one of these? They are E100-E118 and E101-E121.
cherylandtk Posted November 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Here is a picture of that area from one of the Grand Class ships, not sure which one but they are almost all identical. Yes, its a public area, but it is usually closed off at night, so you won't have anyone looking into your room. The windows have one-way film on them, so unless you have all your lights on and its low light outside, you will have privacy during the day, too. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2360900970046097424GMBGUq
Tyrkitty Posted November 6, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Thanks for the great picture. I had searched webshots, but missed it. I was really more concerned about the view from the window and think if my waitlist for balcony doesn't come through it might not be too bad. Looked at all of your other pictures - they were great! :)
