C Mobile???

Okay heres my pet peeve...How about those cell phones that are (I think called C Mobile) like walkie talkies. Boy do they ever aggrevate me on a ship. I understand the use of them to keep in touch with children...but then you get these idiots who travel with friends and have to be in touch every minute with the annoying beeps and static when they try to talk to each other. Geez, I was at muster and this woman is going on and on about where are you? where should we meet after muster? what should we do???? in between all the static and having to yell into this thing it really got under my skin. Anyone else get peeved at these things????

We've never experienced that--I've seem a few folks with the walkie-talkies, but I've never been annoyed by them!

When that does happen, just stare at the offending folks and appear very interested in their conversation--after all, it's apparently for the public to hear! That will usually shut them up!

Nope. Doesn't bother me. I would never want one myself, but I also don't care what other people do and when on vacation, try not to let other people bother me.

EEWWW with the new comunications set up arent they going to be charged minutes to use that because the Cell phones are turned on?????? and will be receiving call or messages?

Have seen only sooo few of them onboard that it was far from annoying me.
