pgmrdev Posted November 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Came off the Crown a few days ago in San Juan from the repo cruise from NYC. Was surprised to see front A/V inputs on the TV. This is the first Grand Class ship I can recall that has such. Figures too since I left my portable DVD player home. Was helpful though previewing my pics on my digital camera in a larger size. seattlekckckc Posted November 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2006 I have always had luck with getting my DVD player to work with Princess TV's. Maybe I have just gotten lucky? They alwys seem to have the AV input on the front. Glad you had a good repo on the Crown! Casey
Eskwire Posted November 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Forgive my silly question: do those same inputs apply to my daughter's handheld video game that comes with tv inputs?
mortysmama Posted November 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2006 I guess I can assume that I will have the same convenience in a full suite on the CB in March. Thanks for the information.
Colo Cruiser Posted November 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 6, 2006 I have not sailed on a Princess ship in the last 4 years that has not had the input jacks. I use them all the time for my camera. ;)
helpmesailaway Posted November 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Does anyone know if there are AV outputs - to use with headphones?
pgmrdev Posted November 7, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Forgive my silly question: do those same inputs apply to my daughter's handheld video game that comes with tv inputs? They should work with the right cables. As for the question about a headset, the audio will only come through when in "Video" mode and not TV mode which probably does you no good. This is the first Grand Class ship I've been on with those A/V inputs and I've been on the Grand and Golden. Also, this TV seemed a little bigger screen, 19" I suspect. I don't recall the Grand or Golden having 19" but I could be wrong on that one.
