Where's the Pearl?

I was wondering where the Pearl is at this time? I will be taking her in May to AK. Can't wait!!!

The Norwegian Pearl arrived safely in the Dutch port of Eemshaven on 7 November 2006. From there she will go out to sea trials in the evening of 9 November 2006 and will return on 14 November 2006. She is likey to stay in Eemshaven until 28 November 2006.

During sea trials, ships are put through their paces very throughly.

A ship will never go faster, nor stop faster than it will during sea trials.

All the auxiliary equipment will be ran and tested, and a lot of fine tuning of the equipment will occur to find the most economical and efficent operation.

And all the fire suppression and fire detection will be tested.

 

Let's hope all goes well. Have a great cruise next year.

The Pearl is on her way to Rotterdam. First passengers, one night to nowhere on the 29th and off to Southamton on the 30th.

 

I better get packing.
