Embassy Suites-what is nearby?

I am staying at the Embassy Suties Hotel and Casino (near Isla Verde Beach) in December-I was wondering if anybody can tell me if there are any stores within walking distance that sell bottled water/alcohol.

I know this sounds wierd, but is the water inexpensive? I known that water can get towards the pricey sides sometimes on the islands. Any help, or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Store is a short walk away, but we found it rather pricey. Booze at the cruise terminal was much cheaper if that is what you are looking for. I think there was a Walgreens or something a little farther down the street that might have been a little cheaper for water, but not much.

Thanks for the input. Booze we will buy at the pier, we did a similar cruise 2 years ago and found the alcohol prices to be really inexpensive. I really wanted water b/c I didn't want to pack it in my suitcase (too much weight.)

Thanks again!

Just curious but why do you need water. Water on crusie ship is distilled. Cannot get any purer water to drink!

We usually bring a few bottles on board, then refill them as the week goes on. We have packed bottles in our suitcase before, but they can get heavy. This way we can bring the bottles with us on excursions. Bottled water on the ship and ports can get expensive.

We take two of those insulated water bottles. I think we bought them on Celebrity ship fior $5 each. Use them for ice water or ice tea when we go to the beach.
