How early to schedule flight after Tampa Celebrity cruise

We will be going on Celebrity Zenith in February 2007. We will be flying home on February 19th. The boat docks at 7am. Anyone know how soon you disembark and how fast? We are looking at a 11am departure but not sure if we can make it since we have never sailed out of Tampa.

We are also on the Zenith out of Tampa. We booked our return for 11:15am because it was the best connection back to the west coast and our home city. We have cruised 36 times and have always scheduled for noon or later. We always seem to arrive at the airport by about 9:00 or 9:30am, even without the early departure tags and then we wait, wait, wait. Often we have been able to get on a departure around 11am (Boston, Seattle, LA, etc.) but in Ft. Lauderdale we have sat all day. This time we decided to just go ahead and book the earlier fllight because we felt 7am return, 4 hours to departure time, that should be plenty. Just ask at the desk for the first departure tags and tell them you have a very early departure. We were once on a cruise ending in New York City, and a couple had a 10:30 am flight. They were permitted to leave very early. So go for it. Becky in Oregon
