Prince Rupert sights or tours

Does anyone know what sights or tours are worth taking in Prince Rupert? We'll be there on August 12th via the Spirit. My husband will not go on a helicopter so that limits us to some degree. Any advice will be appreciated.

Go to the west coast cannery museum - it is about a 30 min drive out past Port Edward and along the Cassiar Cannery Road. This is an old historic cannery that has been reconstructed. It does an excellent job of showing the visitor how salmon were caught and processed in the early days.

 

The drive out is well worth the time too - you will see lots of eagles & some deer + if you are very lucky a bear.
