Bed Question

Hi Guys,

 

My Wife and I are having our Honeymoon on the Radiance on December 9th. This is her first cruise and she really has a hard time sleeping on hotel-style beds. I had read that RCCL was upgrading all its beds in the fleet with pillowtops over the two twin beds. Is this true? Does anyone know if the Radiance beds have been upgraded yet? What are people's opinions of the beds. We are just in a cheap, basic cabin.

I could be wrong but I don't think the Radiance has had their beds changed yet.I hope I'm wrong because I'm on the same sailing, personally I felt the beds were horrible and had a hard time sleeping on them last year.I'm going to pack my pillow this year to see if that helps and maybe drink a little more wine at dinner ;) :D

Radiance is scheduled for 1/7/07 -2/17/07

 

 

You might want to request the egg crates when you get on board from your steward. They do help, at least for us.

For some reason, be it the salt air, or the rocking off the ship, or maybe the food and partying, I'll bet she sleeps just fine--no matter what the bed is like!

Old beds still prevail on the Radiance - ask for the egg crate mattress topper , it does make a huge difference in the comfort of the bed...:rolleyes:

We have had horrible bedding on different ships........but I sleep fine......I'm enjoying cruising! The most comfortable bed ever on ship was on Freedom of the Seas last month!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The new bedding is superb!
