mcgrotty Posted November 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2006 We will arrive about 12:15 at the Ft Lauderdale port. I would guess chances of boarding at that time are about zero...anyone have any experience arriving that early. Would RSSC take and hold our luggage prior to their allowed boarding while we take a taxi to Riverwalk? Thanks - counting the minutes!
Ragnar Danneskjold Posted November 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Embarkation/DisembarkationBack to Top The ship is ready for embarkation between 12pm (noon) and 1pm. However, the suites are not usually available before 3pm. Please arrive for boarding no later than one hour prior to the time of sailing.
Portolan Posted November 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I would guess chances of boarding at that time are about zero...anyone have any experience arriving that early. We usually arrive between 1200 and 1230. Always welcomed aboard with champagne and never made to feel we're pushing it (and there are always quite a few folks aboard ahead of us). Lunch will be available in the Veranda restaurant and pool grill. Suites should be available about 1430 (though they usually say 1500). You'll be able to drop off all luggage that you don't need before you board so you only have to carry personal items with you. Your bags will be waiting in your suite or will arrive soon thereafter. Use the time to explore the ship and/or relax from your trip to the port and ENJOY!
