Winterhaven Hotel South Beach Miami

Anyone stayed here pre or post cruise. As usual Tripadvisor have some very mixed reviews on this hotel. Any info would be good. Many thanks

I stayed there on Christmas last year post-cruise. I had an ocean view room. The room felt old and had a very small bathroom, but it was not bad by any means, especially for the price. The staff was very helpful on the few times I interacted with them.

We were booked there this past weekend, but when we arrived, they asked if it was ok to move us to another hotel as our rooms had been damaged during construction. Upgraded us to a suite there, it was fine with us. So, we didn't get to stay there, but the staff were super professional about it all, they took good care that our needs were met, went above and beyond. Very satisfied. Actually we were a bit dissappointed we couldn't stay there as it looked very nice and clean. Ended up at the Essex House on 10th & Collins and it was great! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
