getting off the mariner on new years eve. let's say... 9:30 a.m.

my flight isn't until 3 out of orlando. what do you suggest? i was thinking of cabbing it to a hotel near the port....letting the kids swim, relax, eat some lunch and then have a car service take us to the airport around noon. does this make sense? any other suggestions about how to kill a few hours?

You will be only a few minutes away from a beautiful beach. Also Ron Jon's Surf shop is here. Everyone likes that.

well, we booked a "day room" at the hyatt orlando airport. it will cost us 89.00 from 10-6. i am (as we speak) on hold with jet blue. i am trying to get a later flight so we can have more time at the hotel. thanks for all your suggestions and i will review when i get back
