ColeandAbby Posted November 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2006 I know many have issues with the use of diet pills and I totally respect that. When Ephedra was legal, I lost weight fast on these pills. If anyone is taking a diet aid and it really works, can you share what it is?
Mrs Lewdawg Posted November 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2006 I'm betting you won't find much of that here. I have noticed that we are more of a "healthy life-style change" crowd here.

gerif Posted November 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2006 I did fen/phen back about 12 years ago (fortunately, with no ill effects - I took the minimum dose) and dropped weight like crazy. Alas, it all came back with a few "friends" after I stopped taking it. This time, I did slow and steady eating healthy and exercising (minimum amount of that) and am down over 60 lbs. since January. Hopefully, it will stay gone this time since it took a lot more work to get there!

cruisin'gal Posted December 4, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 4, 2006 It is a black tea, I first saw it on Oprah a few months ago and bought it online. I didn't really drink it on a daily basis so did not have the positive effects, got serious about losing a few pounds so thought I would try it. like I said have lost weight but my skin looks really good, dark circles are deminished and less splotchy, and smoother. IzzBizz's Gran Posted December 4, 2006 #8 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I would be leery of taking pills for weight loss. I would opt for a more natural approach such as exercising more, cutting down on calories and upping water intake. After all you want the weight to come off and stay off, I would think of my weight loss as being a life style change rather than a quick fix with pills But this is just my opinion. CarnivalCruising Posted December 25, 2006 #11 Share Posted December 25, 2006 The best fat burner is exercise and a weight training program. Pills do not work. If they did there wouldn't be anyone overweight. Elminate fried foods and sodas. Eat a low fat diet and have a cheat meal once a week.
