sarplum Posted November 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2006 We have watched from afar of oeple doing the doc tango. It wouldn't happen to us, could it? But it has - we booked our cruise on the Veendam sailing 12/9 last December. We have never had any problem getting HAL docs for cruises we booked much later. HAL even sent us an e-mail thanking us for the booking. I finally called the TA (a large on line company). The woman told me she had to wait for the person in HAL's document department for 1 hour. She told me that the HAL doc. department was having "difficulties" but we should have them by a week from today. We love HAL but are not that much. Next year??? RuthC Posted November 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Aw, this is so sad. :( You need to be able to do the doc dance, too. Tell ya what---close all the shades, blinds, curtains, and draperies so that nobody can see in. Then turn down the lights and dance ever-so slowly and quietly. No one else needs to know that you don't actually have your docs in hand. Hush, now. Don't tell.

cruznon Posted November 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2006 sarplum, Shhh! Unless your house is surrrounded by other CCers...no one in the neighborhood will have a clue as to the real significance of your quiet (though gleeful) Doc-in-Waiting Dance. ;)
