Off site parking @ Pt. Everglades

My family and I will be cruising on Carnival Liberty out of Port Everglades on Feb. 3rd. We are looking for a cheaper place to park other than PE's parking as we feel that $12 per day is just rediculous!:eek: Has any one used a parking company near the port that is reasonably priced and that provides transportation to and from the cruise ships? Thanks.

I believe park-n-fly has a shuttle that will take you to the Port.

Word of caution though....The offsite park and cruise lots do a great job getting you to your terminal, getting back is another story. The park and cruise shuttle has great difficulty handling the volume of passengers coming off the ships wanting rides back to their cars. All of the ships pretty much disembark at the same time. There tends to be a lot of jostling for a spot on the shuttle. If your cruise terminal is 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc in line for the shuttle you'll be waiting quite awhile. It is not unheard of waiting an hour or two for the "free" shuttle.
