Do I need to bring the deckplan with me?

Can I find the deckplan in my cabin or somewhere on the ship? Do I need to bring a copy with me?

As you board the ship, there should be someone at the enterance handing out a little fold out deckplan of the ship, if for some reason you don't get one just ask your cabin Stewert or the desk for one.

Yes, I believe you are on a Princess Cruise and they will have deck plans for you. Normally, there will be one in your cabin and if there is not one just pick one up at the front desk. They do come in handy as you learn your way around the ship. Have a wonderful cruise.

And for the first few times you leave your cabin--take it with you!!! We did and we were glad we did. We had ours along and we would see people lost and we'd ask where they were trying to go and they would take a quick look at our map and then be on their way. One thing to remember is this: some staircases only go so high while others go all the way up to the top outside level of the ship. Reason: the pool is in the way. If the staircases in the middle of the ship were to go all the way up, you'd be walking up into the pool!!! So make sure you have that map with you!!

Many ships have a folding deck plan available, just a little larger than a credit card. I've never had one handed out to me, but have always been able to acquire one at the service desk.

Deck plans are often also mounted in metal near the elevators.
