Magica Report From 12/3-10 Cruise

Hello Everyone,

My parents who are retired and in their 70's just returend from the Magica.

They had a wonderful time. Please note that they are veteran cruisers who have travelled the world and have been on over 50 cruises from the most elegant to the most casual. While we have sailed on Costa prior to the Carnival takeover, they were apprehensive but wanted to try Costa again.

My Dad reports he is now the shape of the ship and Mom is coming in a close second :) While I understand you don't know them, I thought I would post this for those also concerned about upcoming Costa cruises. Hopefully this may alleviate some of your concerns. They said the food was very good, the entertainment was superb and the atmosphere was most conducive to having a wonderful vacation. Yes, they did say that there were some unhappy cruisers but they themselves had no complaints.

All the best and safe travel!

Glad to hear some positive remarks about the ship & crew. Thanks for posting! :)

I noticed that the ship left Port Everglades about 3 hours late on the 3rd, were you given any reasons for the late sail away? Also, it appeared you missed the Key West port? Was this related to the late departure Sunday night?

Kurt
